Hello i recently purchased a 1998 mustang gt with a vortech. The person was running a HKS bov blowing straight into the atmosphere. When i accelerated fast one day all a sudden the bov stopped making noise and my car started running very rough and seemed like the air to fuel ratio was off. Should i take the hks off and install a vortech bypass valve and have the air recirrculated to make it right again? thank you for your help

where is your MAF located?
if the MAF is after the BOV you can vent the boost to the atmosphere
if the MAF is in the fender or anywhere before the MAF you need to recirculate it.
pics would help if you dont know how yours is set up
