And the Cobra sleeps safely in the barn. It has a salvage title now with blown air bags. Needs some minor hood work, new headers, gas tank and rear brake calipers. probably a clutch some time soon too. Thinkin of sellin it ..but i know I would regert it.
Isn't there a good book by that name - "The Cobra in the Barn"???? BTW- I'd fix her up. You have all winter. It is in the barn after all. You will regret selling it. Trust me.
you will catch hell trying to get it to pass inspection if you do try and fix it, ask me how I know...
He's in Michigan, you're in Georgia. I'd guess that they have different laws. I'll give you $500 for your Cobra and I'll worry about the inspection.
just take your time and try to fix it all. my friend brought back a totalled 99gt and it passes just fine here in VA. just takeyour time and dont halfass ****.
thats very true.. I built one this year, with a salvage title and I couldnt do jack bout it, unless I paid some crooked body shop to say that they did the work and give him like $800 and then have it taken to atlanta for 2 days while they look it over and then it will still have a rebuilt title....
Part of me says its a heavy thirsty dino thats had its day. Ya know the whole enviro thing and all....I recently upgraded to a carbon fiber race bike ..thatis a triathlon timetrial bike...I race in Triathlons...the bike is so cutting edge..fast quick responsive light.....I wish I had a car like it...the stang is heavy....ya I love the rumble of the V8 but I have to get too violent with it to keep up with the latest cars. I don't know, I drive too fast. This weekend I think science Friday on NPR is doin a special on why we drive the way we do..I just bought a Focus svt..I have a harrdtime drivin it slow. its so light and wants to go..I need an attitude change , no way could I have a sport bike. I would be frikin dead. I even eat fast.
Thanks ,but I am too busy cookin. Mothers day , NewYears,Thanksgiving, Xmas..its insane being a chef on the holidays.
Ya see, that's what I'm talking about. Georgia does a real inspection. Not all states do. In NC if it stops and doesn't grind the brakes doing it and if the wipers and lights work then you're good to go. I think half of the cars running around here have salvage titles. Trailers don't ever have to be inspected.
