    Haha!

I didn't think anyone would take him seriously enough to actually create an ABC thread...

Then again, I should remember where I am :D

I thought it was a ABC-E thread too. Had it actually been one, I would have passed it up except for being curious about what Paul was doing.

I agreed with Tim, Matt and Paul on that topic. If we wanted to merge things up to the largest audience, every tech thread relating to 5.0 engines would go to Fox Tech and every thread about something like dropping a gas tank would go to 5.0 or 4.6L Tech. The points about enjoying the company of those replying (I didnt mean for that to sound so lame) and not the content of the replies (per se) was lost I think.
As an e.g., If I ask for help with fixng my TV (and let's pretend there's a TV repair sub-forum here), I like having the thread stay in-house because I know who I can trust. If the thread goes to some OT SF, I won't know if the gent posting is brilliant or retarded.

I'll stop - hopefully that didnt **** anyone off. I know Tim wisely shut the other thread down; I don't wanna start up anything else. Since some didnt agree with that line of thnking, I figured I'd take one more stab at it.

JT, you're good with expressing your opinion about things. I understand why Brian moved the threads, and I have been guilty of tossing some stuff in other forums as well, for the same reasons that he did. I do my best to keep stuff here though, and I would ask anyone to shoot me or Paul a PM if they felt we handled anything in a manner they didn't agree with. It's typically known if I moved something because I tag it with something like "Not tech - moved to talk," so it's clear why I acted in the manner I did.

You do a great job Matt. I haven't seen you move something that should not have been (in my humble, tiny opinion).
EDIT: Matter of fact, you recently moved one of my threads that started out borderline (I always error cautiously and put my stuff in Talk) and vaguely swayed towards Tech. The move was appropriate and appreciated. :nice:
