I'm pretty certain i'm gonna get the 05 GT next spring. One think that I want to do though is put a flowmaster exhaust system on the car. I'll have to see what the stock system sounds like but I really like the throaty sound that flowmaster has. My ? is will I have to get a whole new exhaust system? or can I just get the muffler that I like and get that installed. And if anyone has an idea how much a whole new flowmaster exhaust system is, it would be nice to know how much it'll cost. Thanks for any help.

According to the presentations given, the ability to change out just the mufflers will be reduced to literally 20 minutes. There was no mention made of what it would take to do the entire system.

I heard the stock exhaust a number of times at the 40th. It sounded quieter than my stock '03 Mach 1 at idle but was nice when the engine revved. It will be interesting to see what the aftermarket will do for this one.

mufflers really wont make that much of a difference, your better off going for a whole new exaust system which will probably run you near $300 and whatever for install..

I wanna get a MAC off-road H pipe with a flowmaster exaust system..

Well if it is around $300, that will probably be done the first week I get the car depending of course on how it sounds. I want the car to have a low throaty gurgle at idle. And from a few sound bites I've heard on the flowmaster site They have what it'll take. :nice: :nice:

Polished stainless mufflers wouldn't be too bad.
