Alternative to Superchips Microtuner?

I have an '02 auto GT, looking to get some gears installed and need to calibrate the speedo/shift points.

Is there an alternative to the Superchips Microtuner 1725? I like how it can advance the timing, etc., but is there a better option for $300?
