Amber grill light

I have an early 65 convert with what is represented as dealer installed fog lights and GT exhaust and emblems. It also has an amber light behind the running pony in the grill.

Any one have any knowledge of this being a Ford dealer option? The light appears to have been made for this and the switch is the same as the fog light switch.

Any help on this would be great.

I remember reading about it in a Mustang magazine years ago - some company was bringing out a repop. Apparently there's an article in the November '06 Mustang Monthly, but that's not where I read it (was 10+ years ago); somebody dig through your collection.

After a lot of Googling; I did come across This thread in "Mustangs and More" This indicates it was a dealer-only item; which I sort of remembered before finding that thread.....
