After fixing my last screw up which was putting the shift lever upside down in the tranny therefore making everything backwards I am now putting it back together but before I button up the pan I am making sure the linkage is right. I have noticed that my idicator in the car does not line up in all gears, it shows between neutral and drive when in drive and between 1 and 2 when in 1rst, I bought the linkage adapter from npd but am not sure if it is hooked up correct, especialy the end that has the allen screw in it, and help would be greatly appreciated.

The procedure for adjusting the shifter linkage states:
1. Adj should start in O/D position w/o linkage attached.
2. Place trans in O/D postion by counting the clicks from park. (3)
3. Place shifter in the O/D position.
4. Adj rod until it slips into position onto the shifter and trans lever w/o disturbing the trans lever or shifter.
Hope this helps. For more detail go to www.lentechautomatics.com for tech manual.
