Antifreeze smell...?

Recently put a water pump on my stang and now everytime the car is driven and parked there is a strong antifreeze smell coming from it.Ive looked all over the engine for leaks and couldnt find one,im also not loosing ANY coolant....wheres the smell coming from?

Did you spill any of the antifreeze inside the engine bay when you changed the water pump or when you refilled the radiator?

yeah,some got on the front of the engine when i pulled the old water pump off,and of course on the radiator when i purged the air out of the system

You might be "burning off" the excess coolant that spilled when you changed it.

Keep checking for leaks just to make sure.
