If I'm looking at the FR parts catalog correctly, I would have to buy the valve cover then the coil cover to have the Ford Racing logo on my valve cover. Is this the only way to go about this or does anyone else have another idea so I don't spend $500 on something that's just gonna make the car look nicer under the hood. Don't get me wrong, I want the look but I was hoping there would be valve covers with that already put on them or a less expensive way to go about this. Is this just a byproduct of having a modular engine as all of the valve covers I see in the catalog are for the crate engines or for restorations.
unless ford offered a new coil cover for the 3V, i believe the part you are thinking of is for the 4V motors. the only covers that i know FRPP offers for the 3V are powder coated or chrome.
Yeah I noticed that after I posted this. So there are no cam covers which have the logo on them? And if not, are there better places to buy the chrome FRPP cam covers?
Just get a diecut logo and do the painting yourself. Just some high temp engine paint and clearcoat. Put down the primer and a base coat. Throw your logo on, put on your top coats with another color. Remove the decal and clearcoat.
