Yes. Yes he is.

He supported the death sentence against Salman Rushdie the Ayatollah called for. He's also now an "undesireable alien" and not allowed into the US. He got kicked off a plane and returned to the UK a year or two ago.

I haven't kept the radio on when his stuff played in many years. Too bad, I really liked his early stuff.
