Anyone ever try waxing their pony wheels?

Was cleaning the car today, and my wheels came out really good. Since they are painted, has anyone ever waxed them for some extra shine?

Besides the wax, how can you get your painted pony's to shine?

I've waxed my painted rims with meguiers and it helped a bit

Yes, and my extremely beat up ones (like I got them free with good tires) I actually use a soft brillo pad and some polish, but I would NOT recommend that!
