I recently picked up a mach 1000 system from a 2002 mustang. I'm putting it in my 2003 mach 1 mustang. I'm missing the wiring harness form the trunk floor mounted amp rack to the dash(?). I went to ford to get the harness, but they list several and the descriptions are very poor. If any one has a mach 1000 system could you please check for a blue tag on the harness with a part number. If you fold down the seat it should be on the drivers side running betwwen the amp rack and the wheel well. I want to keep the car appearing stock, I'm not cutting, drilling or altering the car, factory is perfect for me. Any help in the right direction would be appreciated.
nothing yet No I haven't had any luck yet. I emailed ford directly telling them that my local dealerships wouldn't help me and they emailed me back telling me to check out my local dealership. I emailed the company that makes the Mach1000 and they told me to see ford. I then looked into the kits that Classic Design Concepts sells and they would not sell me the harness seperatly or give me a part number (last time I buy anything from them!). So for the moment I'm stuck with it until I find a used harness or someone is willing to give me a part number.
In this order: 1st Line says - Ford 2nd line says - 3R33 3rd line says - 19B113 then, made in Mexico or some crap Hope this helps you. I'm very shortly about to remove this poor excuse of a sound system and not to mention a giant waste of space! If you really must have it there it is. Also, try Torrie over at fordpartsnetwork.com He often times has stuff that others don't have and also he may even have the diagram. There is not much support for the Mach 1000 out there.
