Anyone have taillight sequencers from CDC? They advertise no cutting; direct plug in. Is it so?

I had them on a 2000 GT. Yes, plug & play. Easy install.

I have them, no cutting, a little more than just plug in.....but no splicing wire. Takes about 20-30 minutes. They look awesome. (2005 GT)

webelectricproducts.com has actual plug and play systems. I have one and it was simple and easy and works great. If you read the CDC instructions you will see there is more than just plug and play.

How do the sequential lights look when the brake lights are on? I'm assuming at least one of the lights has to stay on steady burn for the brake light. How does this affect the sequencing? Anybody have a video of their car with the brake lights and turn signals on?

    Tailight sequencer

Go to a web site caled meter4it-they have a good video. Their kit has chaser lights, they look much better than just the sequencer lights.

I have the meter4it kit and wouldn't trade them for any other brand. Their setup allows you to choose between sequence and chase and is very easy to install.

When you brake, the lights go through one 'sequence' and then stay on. Meaning that if you were to turn your blinker on for one blink and then they stayed on, thats what it looks like. At least that is what it does for my kit.

I purchsed mine off of eBay for $50, and it took me about 25 min to install. And I love them!!

    CDC Sequential Tail Lights

I got one of the first pair shipped out by CDC when they became available for the 05. They come with easy instructions, and are simply plug and run. No problems, they look great and don't alter the flash patter.

    I like their products.

But are they pointing because they see them as being odd? :D

IMHO, the last thing you want is sequencing brake lights. All you need to do, is momentarily confuse the driver behind you, even if for only a second or two. Plus, if they do ram into your new Mustang, all they have to do is claim that your mod'ed brake lights confused them, and suddenly you are paying for all the repairs.

While sequenced turn signals are cool, sequenced brake lights aren't.

    Sequential Tail Lights From CDC

When you brake they stay solid like a regular brake light, they sequence like the Mercury Cougar XR7. You can't go wrong, great customer service, give them a call with your questions.

It took me less than 30 minutes to install, read instructions carefully before you start. It also lights up the third section of your tail light when you brake because this system uses all three of the rear bulbs instead of two.

Just my thoughts, CDC has been around along time, this purchase really makes your car stand out......

    Tail Lights

    Hey Fin,

Chill just a little and take a deep breath, everyone that buys a car is certainly entitled to do what they want to it, a little tolerance is in order.

    Just my thoughts........
