Anyone use Comp Cams new Hot Street cam in their 96-98 GT yet?

I'm looking into the new Comp Cams Hot Street cam for the 96-98 GT with stock heads. part# 102300 with 274/278 and 236/240 @ .050. Anyone used this yet? Wondering if it creates enough vacuum to run AC, power brakes and steering...

Hey there.

I have not gottan any cams or anything but i clicked on your thread and looked at the picture of your car and it is the same color as mine. You are the first person that i have seen on this thread with the same color and year gt.

I believe im the only person in town here in Midland MI with this color mustang and there are a lot of mustangs here.

Just thought u wanted to know that.

I haven't heard of any reviews of these cams you're talking about. I'm looking at getting a set of VT cams to put in during the headswap.

I put in the xe270 comp cams... i believe these are what you're talking about

I just put a set of them in my new pi heads, but they're sitting on my garage floor right now, and i'm planning to put the heads in today/tomorrow. I'm doing this with LT headers, full exhaust and a new clutch, so I'll let you know about your questions, hopefully in the next week if you'd like.
