anyone with a battery relocation kit?

    was debating if i should pick up a cheap one from summit or not. anybody buy a kit or have some pics to share? thanks

    relocation kit

    i had bought a kit from late model restoration but they only gave you enough wire to have ass the hole thing i needed to pick up a longer wire but other than that it was great

    I have a Taylor kit and it was great and came with everything needed.

    What are the advantages of relocating your battery to the trunk?

    Better weight distribution. More weight over your rear tires rather than in the nose. Frees up some space under the hood for turbos etc. too.

    I used the cheap summitt kit. It worked just as advertised. Don't forget, if you plan on racing at a track, they will make u have shut off switch.

    another ? i was debatin on ordering along with that a aluminum driveshaft and safety loop(i kno i need this either way) but do u think the driveshaft is worth it?

    Yeah its worth it. The factory one is not too well balenced. Also the drivesahft will be lighter freeing up some horse power to the wheels :nice: Of course it may only be more of a Shetland pony more but power is power :D
