I would like to know on a 2001 Cobra how much the Pulleys help and if I can do the crank, alt, and anything else without neg. side affects?

I know on my 99 Z when I had it they helped the engine rev faster and maybe some extra power too and at lights my volts would drop to the point my headlights would dim some but not a big deal ever.

Get the Steeda pulleys. They add around 5-8RWHP or so. Never had any issues with dimming or the volts dropping around town.

I agree. I had the Steeda pulleys on my 99 Cobra and they worked great. No voltage drops at all. I also think they are SFI certified. You don't wanna go cheap on these because the crank pulley and balancer are 1 unit.
