auto trans fluid

    how often should the auto trans fluid be changed? I have never changed mine and have 27k miles now. I've never really thought it was important but its been on my mind lately. Dunno why.

    I think the manual says every 30k, but the harder you drive it the quicker it needs changing. Might as well go ahead and get it taken care of where your mileage is now.

    had mine done at 35000.you have to go to ford to have it done.there are special tools that only ford has.

    With OD trannies, they are very finicky. I do my diesel pick up every 15k religiously.

    The Ford recommendation for the 2007 for normal driving conditions is every 150k miles.
