    Hi Folks.

This is my first time on StangNet.

    Here is my question:
I have an 05 GT with the shaker 500 system. There is an Auxillery Button on the deck. Is there a way to connect a jack into the harness?
I suppose there must be a harness already connected somewhere!

Have any of you dealt with this before?

    Thanks
    Jim

I don't know much about the newer systems and such. BUT if there is an auxiliary jack, there should be a cable/wire run already to plug in an ipod/cd player. I've done a Mazda this was

I think my friends 06 had a headphone jack inside the center console. You would just need to go to Radio Shack and get the wire with the 3.5 male headphone jack on both sides.

    Thanks for the feedback!

I looked in the console and there is no jack. My car is a very late 05.
Maybe the dealer can figure it out. I saw that it would take to pull the radio from the dash..It's nuts!

Send me a PM, we (PAC) make a ipod interface/aux input that offers full control and texting fromt the radio.

There is no jack or way to easily add a aux in to the harness
