My 2004 has the Mach 460 stereo and there's an AUX button on it. Has anyone tried to use this? Is there some input jack on the back that will take an MP3 player?

No, that would be too easy. You will need to find a compatible adapter, wireless transmitter or wired transmitter. I am using a wired fm modulator with good success. Circuity City - $50

    Good Luck!

I was going to put in one of these adapters which enables the SAT button (not the Aux) and provides RCA connectors (easy adapted to 1/8" phono plug) but decided to replace the entire head unit.

I believe a compatible adapter is available at:

imo there is only one explanation for an aux input, there has to be an rca input in the back of the HU. If it doesnt do anything thats it. Those dang things are universal.

There are NO rca's back there. I've looked. You need an adapter to utilize the aux imput. :Zip2:
