My back seat squeaks like crazy. It sounds loose. Does anyone else have this issue? I want to take them out and put some material in there to reduce vibrations.

just take them out, no vibrations and less weight. also you wont have to haul anyones ass around when they are begging to go in your car. unless its a chick then it sucks :nice:

The back seats in my 04 squeeked for a while after I got it. It was just the new material rubbing together where the two seats fold down and it went away after a while.

I've got a rattle in the rear passenger area of my car that's driving me nuckin' futz! It sounds just like the rear glass is loose. I'm going to start systematically removing everything from the rear seat area until I find what's causing it. It's loud too!

I have various creaks coming from the back seat and an annoying sound coming from the leather on the right side of the passenger seat rubbing against the door panel (fixed only if the passenger seat is slid all the way back). I chalk it up to interior build quality. I usually open the windows and let the 32V drown out most of the unwanted noise :D

I had something like that too, turned out to be a loose piece of plastic molding in the back, the dealership just stuck it back down. Some guys have actually had their rear windows come loose though.

I have the same issue, and I'm thinking of doing a Rear Seat Delete.

FWIW - if you have a squeak coming from the rear passenger area, remove the plastic interior panel on the ride side adjacent to the seats. Check the area where the B-pillar and rear seat meet each other.
I seem to recall some other owners finding a broken weld (?) in that location.
