Man was mother's day crazy. my dad smoked rabbit, fish, and venison and my neighbors brought over smoked duck. my older brothers girlfriend brought over her family and she is the fourth child in a line of ten. well my father(the previous) day bought a cherry picker that has a max hieght of fifty feet, so as entertainment people were going up in it, and just generally having a good time. now there wasn't any heavy drinking going on, but my dad and his buddies had been drinking beer since about noon. my little brother thinks (at about 6:00) to start riding my dads 225 Yamaha TTR 4stroke motocycle. he takes it around for a while when my dad's friend, who isn't exactly sober, tries to ride the bike. I'm on the cherry picker and am on the way down. i see the guy climb on the bike and zoom of twards the drive way. I guess it was the alcoho, but he didn't decide to turn and follw the curve of the drive way. instead he flies right inside of the barn and hits a sickle bar mower that is propped up on an diaginal angle. the bike went under the mower, and the teeth of the mower caught him he is now in UVA hospital and has three 1-2 inch puncture holes in his chest, one in his throat, and one on his fore head.

i think he only needs stiches but he wasn't wearing a helmet so he might have a concussion

I am a biker and I try not to drink whenever I ride and on the rare occasion that I do its only a couple during a very long time......thats just stupid.....I feel bad for the guy that this happened to, but you gotta respect the bike......

anyway, I hope he recovers and learns his lesson.
