Bah, tried taking my spoiler off today

    The paint is all bubbled up under the spoiler around the holes, and it is even starting to chip off by one of the holes. Had my hole plugs and silicone all ready too, guess I can't use them. I'll have to get it professionally filled and painted if I want to go spoilerless I guess...

    Has anyone gotten any estimates on what that would cost?

    I have the same problem. You can do it yourself as far as sealing the hole with a little bondo. As for paint I'd imagine it would be pretty cheap. not more than 100 bucks.

    Well, 300 isn't too bad I guess. I'll have to go out and get estimates one of these days.

    Anyone have pics of 96-98's with no spoiler? I've always thought they looked better with a spoiler but I've never really given it a chance.

    ewww....sorry...not a fan

    the only way i like spoilerless 99-04 stangs is when they are slammed with rims...other than that they look like lifted shoe boxes on bottle caps...but its all about how it looks to you, so if you like it, go for it.

    .... 300 bucks is a LOT of money though, just to take a piece OFF your car. lol
