Bassani cat back..too loud for daily?

My 04GT vert is going to live it's life mostly stock since my Wife has indicated to me that my 88 will be "my toy" and the vert is to be left alone. I have managed to sneek in a set of FMS tubular SF connectors, but aside from that I am stuck...HOWEVER, I think I can convince her to let me install a catback system if I can get a sound clip of it with stock mid pipe. Could you please fill me in on the BAssani cat back cause I have the option for a hell of a deal on it $500installed, but I need to know how it sounds, give me some info..thanks,Derek.

IMO get the magnaflow. I just installed the catback on my 99GT Vert after doing research showing it is the highest horsepower producing catback. The exhaust tone is very nice and not obnoxious like an SLP system.

the bassani catback sounds very nice with the stock h. you can add the baffles too if you want to quiet it even more. i have the bassani cat and or x and i love the sound. but i had the catback with the stock h for a while and it was really nice. the fit is great too.

I currently only have the catback on mine right now, and its not too loud. I think it sounds good, but I still miss the x-pipe a lot. I don't think you can go wrong with the bassani catback. You can hear sound clips of the bassani with a stock H at www.mustangexhaust.com

For a while, I had the stock H with the Magnaflows on my vert and I loved it. No where near to loud for daily driving. Was really not all that much louder, mainly deeper sounding.
