Ok thanks in advance for any advice you guys can help me with. I am a little scared about doing this because of the great computerize technology that our cars have. I am looking at getting a off road x pipe from bassani #bx46052. Is this the one that most people have on there cars? I want to first make sure I pick the right one before ordering. Second ? is about the check engine light. If I get MIL connectors with this prevent the check engine light from coming on? Will doing this hurt the car in anyway such as performance? Third, were is a good place to get these parts (the xpipe and the MIL's)? I have a 2007 GT 5 speed if this helps. If you get a custom tuner from somebody like Brenspeed or Bamachips, they turn off the rear O2 sensors so you will not have the check engine light come on anyways.
