Does anyone know where I can order the new bbk dual 62mm throttle body and intake? Also there is another company that has make an aftermarket throttle body, motoblue. Also I'm looking at buying a good combination on throttle body and intake. Check this site out: http://www.rpmoutlet.com/05gt.htm they have like 5 difference intakes for the new mustang. I would really like to find the best combination. I'm not sure on which combination there is so many intake out there.

    Thanks

IMO, the best Intake is C&L, that's what I used, it appears to be the most complete kit with replacement Inlet Pipe, Billet MAF Neck, Conical Powerstack Filter, and Heat Shield. On a Throttle Body front, the CNC Machined Ventory Style Throttle Body from LFP is a better way to go than a BBK which is a cast unit.

LFP's price on the C&L Kit with Specific Tuner (Diablo, SCT) and thier new Throttle Body can't be beat, check them out first. They saved me $100.00 just on the Throttle Body.

Here's a photo of the Throttle Body I purchased from them:

If you want the BBk stuff, I know brother's performance sells it. I was there yesterday. they have a website, but I don't know if it's listed. www.brothersperformance.com. Check the ad in MM&FF first. Some prices are cheaper in the ad.

I have the CNC machined TB from LFP and it not only is a great looking piece but really gets rid of the throttle delay. Didn't get it dynoed but gave more seat of the pants feel than before.
Air intake I have is the JLT. I like it and the power gains were very good.
C&L was my other choice, but the JLT was more bang for the buck. Also you can have it painted the color of your car.

I asked the manager up at Brothers Performance, and the reply was "05 TB and cold air will not be available for a couple of months yet". Brothers/BBK/American Muscle are good guys and I'd have liked to have gone that way (buying from someone you know and trust is priceless IMO). I've heard nothing but good things about C&L, though, so I'll likely go that route since I'm not the most patient person around.

I bought the Magnaflow x pipe (with cats) and FRPP headers from Brothers. American Muscle did the install on the x and will also do the headers (plus the pulleys I've had gathering dust for months!). If you're looking for someone to do install work for you, I can highly recommend AM. Charged me next to nothing, pointed out a couple of things I should have the dealership fix and also gave me some nice little snippets of info on ongoing care.

Brothers and AM are in Corona - a bit of a drive from HB for me, but worth it.:nice:

Has anyone tried a new TB with the spacer? I'm interested in knowing how that setup worked out.
