bing...ahh, you get the idea! The door alarm has begun to stick on my passenger side door, it caused my rear view mirror lights to stay on(verts have no dome light, thusly lights in the mirror),I diconnected the wiring harness to the mirror. Now, as of driving home from work tonight "bing"! It stopped when I braked the car hard. Anyone gone through this? What's the fix? New switches? Heeeeeeeelp!
Your main prosponder's gone or your spark plug wires are too long. Simple as that. But really, it sounds like the door switch has gone south. You can try to remove it and see if that helps, I think it's a 1/2" socket on the switch part in the door jam, then you can pull it out from the inside. Just unhook it and see if that helps.
Yeah, I went on a road trip in my last Crown Vic to Florida about three years ago, and all of a sudden: bing bing bing! OMG! Thank God, it stopped, but it almost drove me nuts, stereo couldnt drown it out...bing bing bing...
Make sure you post if that fixed your problem, or if you did figure it out. Too many times during a search I find a post with someone having the same problem I have, but no solution or update if the solution offered fixed the problem.
