I'm looking for black brake calipers for a '96 GT. I have looked everywhere and besides do it yourself paint kits they always only have Red or un-painted.

    Any help please???

    Thanks.

That's because '96 brake calipers suck and nobody would dare waste their time with them when there is an upgrade caliper.

Search for calipers for an '99-04 GT. They are dual piston and directly swap with the stock '96 calipers. Better performance and they are aluminum so they are lighter.

search www.diskbrakesrus.com and they have tons of colors to pick from

The OEM mach 1 calipers are flat black.

High-temp engine paint from any auto parts store works just fine. Mine have been painted blue for over 4yrs., and I've only touched them up once (last year). :nice:
