Bubbling paint-rust???

    I have an 05 with about 20K on it. I did a wash and wax this weekend. Right on the front edge of the hood I notice the paint is bubbling up like there is rust underneath it in a couple of spots. I thought the hoods were aluminum and shouldn't rust. The car is only two years old. What the hell. Have others noticed this? :(

    could be the clear coat. i noticed the same little bubble on the bottom of my trunklid and like a dumba** i scratched it off w/ my fingernail. it was the clearcoat runnoff. post some pics if you can.

    The hood is aluminum. It won't rust. There is a TSB on this problem. Take it into the dealer.
