Did anyone here install a GT rear cover but keep the V6 front cover?

I installed both, but after almost a year of looking at the "new look", I still like the V6 front cover better.

Im thinking about dropping my V6 cover off at a bodyshop and having the license plate indent removed and having a chin spoiler installed and painted body color.

I dont know, the GT front cover makes the car look big and heavy compared to the V6 cover.

    Opinions?

i prefer the pony package grille over the base V6 grille. since you have the V6 bumper already, it would be a easy upgrade to use the pony package grille.

Funny. I emailed the guy about that grill. He claims it will fit the GT cover. I also asked about a matching lower, but he didnt answer that question.

Im going to mess with my V6 grill into my GT cover this weekend, just for giggles.

That ebay grill would look good with a tribar.

Shooterm, we have the same mods except I dont have springs or the t-lok. how about a side pic with those lowering springs, Ive been thinking about them.

the auction plainly says "fits V6 Mustangs" LINK Here
maybe they make it for both GT's and V6's too
What I like about it most is its not an overlay (which I detest)
and its made exactly the same as the factory grill (unpainted Blk A.B.S.)

here's a picture with the best angle /// poor quality though
those Roush rear springs really level out the car at the curb
perfect symmetry | | just the way is should be ...

Ive been eyeballing that V6 grill. I guess someone will have to buy one and see how the fit and finish is. I havent seen one on any of the various Stang boards I surf.

Ive got some ideas on putting a V6 grill into a GT cover, if it works maybe I will be the lab rat,

I'd be really interested in reading some of your ideas, as I'm looking into getting the V6 pony package Grille, and putting it into my GT bumper cover..But after comparing a standard V6 grille with my GT grille ! the location of the fastener tabs, are different from one another and don't line with the fastener slots, in the bumper cover..Other than swapping out my GT cover and then replacing it with a V6 cover ? I just can't seem to figure out any other way of how the grille swap, could work right
