The Gate City Triad Mustang Club will host it's annual Show on June 12, 2004. The Car Show will be held at the Colonial Mall parking lot in Burlington, NC, located on Huffman Mill Road. ( Exit 141 on I-40/85) The gates open at 8 am. Gates close and judging begins at 11 am. Autos will remain on the show field until 3:30 pm. Judging by modified MCA rules. Awards will be given for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place cars in each class. There will also be a display only class and a pony corral for cars that are for sale. The show is open to Ford, Shelby, Saleen, Roush, Steeda, SVT,etc. Mustangs. Dash plaques to the first 100 cars registered.
The entry fee for a judged car is $25.00. Pony corral (cars for sale) is $15.00. Display only is $15.00. Burlington is half way between Greensboro and Durham on I-40/85. I'd guess it's about 5 hours from Lawrenceville, Ga. to Burlington, NC.
My roommate is from Stone Mountain, GA and he said it's about 5 hours even with normal traffic, so it can be a little faster or slower. I'm gonna try and stop by at least, but since I have to work that afternoon from 2-8pm I can't enter. But it'll be fun to gawk at some nice Mustangs
