i think i want to sell my car for this truck harley truck
i dont know if i'll be happy with a truck but i know that i am spending a lot of money on my car that i drive once every 2 weeks. i can drive the truck everyday and i plan on having full exhaust and a chip done as soon as i get it.

i am planning on stripping my car and selling it 100% stock (as stock as possible at least) do you guys think i can get $1300 for my car with all the Saleen stuff left on it? it is a 2001 and has 29,500 miles on it and is in near mint condition. have i lost my mind!?!?!?!?!?

$13,000 would be for the car with very minimal mods left on it.
MODS this isnt a for sale thread i just wanna know what my car is worth if i do get rid of it

Don't you have a Mach 1 also? If so, then yeah, I would'nt have any problem selling a GT for a nice truck. The best of both worlds.

the cobra tank has never been in my car. i bought it less than a month ago and the NEW twin GT pumps have never seen fuel. the 8 rib stuff was never installed. blower has a 3.4 pulley and is seeing 10 psi thru the cooler. current setup in the car is a single focus pump and 42 lb injectors.

please PM me about anything listed over on the MPH forum. i dont want this to get shut down for being a for sale thread.

Your car looks fantastic, has insanely low miles for that year, and very tastefull mods...dont get rid of it!

I would think the mustang would be cheaper to drive everyday than that truck...

    i have a 1995 Ranger i drive to work.
i bought the stang 3 years ago with 14K on it and all it had was an x pipe and the body kit. i have put over $20,000 in mods in it in the past 2 years and it still isnt driven very much. i'm about 2 months away from having my built engine ready. it is starting to be an addiction buying parts for it. i couls easily spend $15000 on other stuff right now. seats, roll bar, new paint, brakes, etc......

thats why i'm looking at the truck. i could buy a programmer, intake and exhaust and be done with it.

    Yeah right

Didn't someone else on these forums do almost the exact same thing? Trade the stang for a truck, hated it, and is now looking to (or already did) buy another stang?

I wouldn't do it. You have a daily driver, and a weekend warrior. Nothing wrong with spending money on a car you only drive occasionally. Its called a hobby. Millions of people nation wide have this particular one. Finish your build up. Don't give up all your work for another slow ass truck.

I dont think I could ever be stangless....I spend almost all my money on mods, pay a s--tload a month on payments & insurance, and I still owe more then my car is worth. I usually only drive it on the weekends too. But you know what, I wouldnt give it up 4 anything. The only thing Im tired of is being up under my car every weekend modifying something instead of driving it. The only Harley truck I would even consider is the supercharged silver & black two tone, which I love, but I still wouldnt give up a Saleen for it. Anyway, Dont sell it...

Ok, I just looked at your cardomain page....Why would you ever want to get rid of that bad--s stang. You got everything I want drivetrain wise, except your car is a 2V. Keep that thing...

You are not really thinking about selling your car for a pick-up??????I must admit that Harley F-150 are pretty awesome....But they look 100x better hauling a trailer with a mustang on!!!!!

i love the way the harley f250s look. plus they have a lot of room and it can be a DD with a decent amount of power.

The truck would definitely be more practical, and stylish to boot, but you'll miss your Stang without a doubt the first time you stuff that big, blown, behemoth to the floor, or try throwing it into a corner and still get walked by an old lady driving a Nissan Maxima. It'll really hurt everytime you see another Mustang drive by, or hear it "blip" the throttle. The Harley Trucks are nice though, but be forewarned though as nice as they are, they're absolutely brutal on gas!!!

the first one i was looking at sold. i found another one in FL that looks good.
    new truck

are they really that bad on gas? i had planned one getting a turbo back exhaust, programmer, intake and either propane or nitrous hooked up as soon as i get it along with a tv and tinted windows.
