C4 or T5

I got a shot at a nice stock C4 for about $250 bucks. Only problem is i already have a T5 that i was going to use. Question is should i go ahead with the T5 and all the mnods that go with putting it in or the C4 for a decent price? I have 3.80 gears already installed and i am about to build a decent ho motor. what would it take for the c4 just bolt it in or do i need to change some things. also would a c4 keep from going down the highway with 3.80 gears?

For the C4 you'll need the II specifc bellhousing or a hammer. And with stock height tires and a C4 with those gears you'll be tach'n at about 4k at 65mph on the freeway. Depending on the year of the T5 you'll be around 3K at the same speed. Save your motor I say with 3.80s go with the T-5.

well thats what i was wondering. For the price ithought maybe the C4 would be a better deal. guess was getting a little lazy about the T5 swap.
