car dies when cold

i have got rid of all my codes and my light is not on anymore,but my car dies when u start it when its cold,it has done this since i have had it and i dunno why.anyone have any ideas?it idles good and it doesnt surge but when its cold it always dies,also does anyone know the belt length needed to get rid of smog pump,and how hard it is to plug the heads or should i plug the tube up?will the two solenoids cause my light to come back on,how should i go about fixin them?

from what I have read here at stangnet, the IAC/IAB (solenoid valve on the Throttle body) is not working. my car is doing the same thing, I have one on order, hopefully it will fix my problem. as for the belt, you'll have to search that one out, or get a string and measure, then just start trying belts...as for the plug, I have plugged the line before a couple times, never messed with the head
