I wouldn't put too much thought into it...there all basically the same with diffent fancy names. I know for a fact my bike responded to well to amsoil at the last change that my GT will be seeing it too when the 10 free oil changes from the dealership are done :). Any brand name synthetic is going to work well....I do trust the Ford spec oil and filter so I wouldn't rule out those options either.

I like my Amsoil, run 0w30 in it.

Yes it is...I never would have believed amsoil could make an honest to god difference in a vehicle...it does. I'm convinced that at even 20$ canadian a bottle it's a worth while investment, and I'm not easily convinced.

Thanks for the info. what do you mean by difference? like a performance difference? like slightly increased throttle response? im not sure what you mean. im currently running castrol GTX 5w-30 by the way, what do you guys think about that? -Thanks.

Difference for me is how the engine seems when hot...amsoil seems to keep the valvetrain on my bike quieter when hot and infact crankcase oil temp gauge is a bit lower than when using mobil1 on the bike as well. Not to mention smoother shifting.....all these things combined assure me that the oil is infact doing an exceptional job of holding it's stated viscosity when the temps get HOT. I find majority of oils tend to really thin out when the oil temps climb. In terms of performance I can't see how oil can really add much...it's all about best lubrication available. Now saying that I find pretty much any brand name oil is decent enough to meet the needs of most...GTX is what I ran in my foxbody. Dealers use a 5-20 semi blend if I'm not mistaken...good enough for their warranty specs...good enough for me right now.
