:canada: hey guys here it goes, looking to buy a cat back system, thinking of magnaflow, but i dont know if i should get the magnapacks, i have a 2000 gt, and i want to keep original x-pipe and cats, will the magnaflow bee too much like the stock without the packs, i also was looking into the slp powerflow, i think the loudmouth series will be too loud, i have heard a lotof clips on youtube but most of those cars have modded x-pipes and some are running no cats, i wanted a oppinion on somwone who has the same setup that i want to get, cheers

If you keep the stock H pipe then I would go with a Magnapack or a LM1 or LM2. So you can here it. If you go with a regular muffler such as the powerflows or a magnaflow muffler it will give it a little sound but still be kinda quiet. But they will all sound good anyway.

Magnaflow is great, thats what I run. Why are you going to keep you stock H-Pipe? I dont like the Magnapacks personally but it might be because of the midpipe they were paired with.

A great sounding setup is a Magnflow Catback and a Magnaflow O/R X or Catted X.

The regular Magnaflow catback exhaust would be my choice since I like the sound.
The stainless steel construction of the Magnaflow catbacks are very good quality
and will last a long time. The nice tips that come with the Magnaflow catback
really compliment the exhaust system.Really you can't go wrong with any Magnaflow product.
I would skip on the SLP idea since their exhaust sounds like a really loud
tractor with no real sound at all (like arse). It's really hard to belive the mustang
community would want to put GM parts on their mustangs.
SLP parts belongs on a Camaro or Trans Am not a Ford Mustang. :notnice: :nonono:

As others have said and from what most have preferred when keeping the stock h-pipe is our Magnapack system. The Magnaflow system will give you bit more sound over stock but is fairly mellow. Let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks for your interest in Magnaflow.
