CD Changer lid won't close?

    I was taking a cd out of the cd changer yesterday and the lil lid that covers the openning didn't close. Now it keeps saying that there is a cd error and it wont cycle to another cd. If anyone has and suggestions i'd be thankful.

    sometimes if you unplug the it from the harness, it will reset itself.
