CDC Flashback for SEMA - GT500 Power

After reading about the problems with Unique Performance who seemed to be well funded, I look at projects like this with a very jaded view now.

I hope they do well but if I were a propsective buyer I would be leery.

It doesn't mattef if they were overpriced or not. They seemed to be a large, well funded operation and look what happened to them. That's all I'm saying.

whoa...there are a lot of realy cool mods to that car most are very subtle but really make the car stand out. i have to say that is THE cleanest SEMA mustang i've ever seen. this thing put anything the Ring brothers have ever done to shame, not to say that their cars aren't cool but this one stands way above theirs IMO. i like the interior and undercarriage especially, about the only thing i don't like is the mod motor but i'm heavily biased toward the small pushrod ford v8. i only wish ford would have built the LS motors instead of GM, in fact the LS motor has a lot of things about it that remind of a small ford motor.

That color kills the car. It would be a lot better with a different/better looking color. Top notch build quality though.

ya think? i think it makes the car all that much more subtle, really goes with the rest of theme...understated.

I always like seeing rear bumpers that fit that tightly. Looks like a lot of cutting and welding, unless it's fiberglass. That color is straight out of the gaudy show-car era of the 1950s. All it needs are whitewall tires. Why no pictures of the front end? Interior doesn't work for me - modernized seats, panels and console yet they keep the stock dash? That drilled hole behind the scoop looks terrible.

I don't see the allure of someone building a custom car for you with the style chosen by the builder. Can't people think for themselves anymore?

the color is Brittany blue which is a stock 67 color and they painted it to match the other car which was in the november issue of mustang monthly. BTW, Brittany blue was also a stock 67 shelby color too. the console is actually built in the 68 shelby style and the seat swap is common for lot's of people with early stangs. the other car has a nicely done set of fox body seats upholstered to look lik stock 68 seats.

It looks a bit "pearly" in the pics, hence my 50s comment. Just like I thought Bigmac's dark green car looked awesome in his personal pics, yet the magazine pics were an oddball glowing green.
