changing wheel size

    alright you guys i am considering 18 in. saleen wheels , so when i change trade them with my stock 16's will i have to purchase a spedometer converter or would a mach 1 guage cluster work,,, except for rpm's?

    Neither, as long as you get the correct size tires for those rims.

    its amazing how many people think getting bigger rims will throw off the speedo.... you buy the correct size tire to compensate for the larger diameter rim so your speedo stays 100% accurate.

    im sorry i didnt mean it like thats its just suprising how much miss information there is out there about the subject, i didnt mean to be rude about it we all have to start somewhere i have asked a million questions like that, its the only way to find out.

    Its called plus 2....correct match the tire to the rim, should not be a problem...

    Post some pics of your ride once u get the new wheels. I haven't seen many pics of mustangs with nice 18" rims.
