Yeah, 87 was the first year of the strut tower brace. SCCA made Steve remove it from his race cars because they weren't a "stock" item.
SOLD! *** THIS JUST IN *** Just in time for the holiday season you can have my '85 Saleen for $35K With a production run of 139 street cars, then subtract for crashed & burned... Price includes FREE shipping to the continental USA and a couple things of car wash that I have not figured out what to do with I know, it is not a factory Vert, but wait, there is more... If you act now, you also get a $100 gift certicicate to Home Depot to purchase a Sawz-all in case you want to look up at the sky. (labor not included) This is an offer for a real car that is not in Nigeria, nor do you have to send me more than $35k. What more could you want?
Somehow I feel the need to raise the BS flag on the auction! Money says it turns up in a few weeks under a new seller.
ROFLMAO! Mike, that's the funniest thing I've read in a while! Thanks! LOL! Put it on eBay. You never know.........!
Bidding ended on 11/21 with one bid @ the asking price of $35K. That seems a wee bit too convenient...
I personally see very few "nice" Saleen's sell for under the 6 figure mark. These cars are coming on in value so long as they are authentic, in good shape and complete ... not altered. What Mustang is being copied the most right now? The Saleen. Even real Saleen parts bring big money- just look at: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...&item=8012670135&rd=1&sspagename=STRK:MEDW:IT I'm sure this part was <50$ new. I'm not saying this '86 vert should be brining the price it sold for (assuming it really sold) at this time, but let's hope all our cars will increase in their value! After all, that's a part of why we bought them, am I right?!
\\ 11. White 'Vert Top = You get to see the railings...see thru like! You will be washing it everyday! 12. White Interior: See last sentence from # 11.
