yes i feel very stupid for asking this but im having trouble with this cold air kit my buddy bought for his 03 v6... there are some odd amounts of nuts adn bolts that seem not to fit inthe back of the air sensor. there are only two holes on the back of the air sensor(they line up along with the gasget on the pipeing) but the new piping has four holes. it looks like are spots on the plastic part of the air sensor that need to the drilled for these bolts. its a cheapass kit from china with no directions... o and im not sure if i have the silicone hoses 100% correct but the one taht goes to the BACK of the air sensor housing is way smaller than the lip it need to fit on!
another delimma is wtf is that black rubber thin in the first pipe off the manifold? it has a hole in it and its after teh air sensor, so leaving it open would definitly be bad. and the hardline extending from the intake piping closest to the manifold is to short for that vac line leading from the valve cover by about and inch. please help! o and waht is that mother of a metal clamp for?
