Time has come get a new top. The local upholstry place that does a lot of mustangs suggested replacing the original vynil with a cloth top of the same beige color. I kinda trust the guy as he has a really good reputation around here. Any thoughts, pros/cons?

Is there a significant price diference between the cloth and the vynil? I would personally go for the cloth. The cloth tops on the 03-04 Cobra verts that I have seen look beautiful and seem like they would be easier to keep clean than vynil, although I have heard that vynil would probably last you longer.

You guys are absolutly right, from what I was told, cloth is about $350 more, however its easier to keep clean and lasts longer (aside from the classy looks)

Also, its odd, but I recently started to notice that all expencive cars (Benz, BMW's, Jags etc) come with a cloth top.

    Cloth

And i would put a black top on instead. Not a big fan of the beige/red combo. But it's your car
