Basically i usually hear it when i let out the clutch or give it gas or backing up. It sounds like it's coming from around the clutch area of so. I'm thinking that maybe it's the pilot bearing gone bad or something, if anybody knows or has had the same problem and can help me pin point it would be appreciated.

i had the same problem

im pretty sure that its going to be your u-joints. i had the same problem in my 94 cobra. i started thinking that it was something other than the u-joint. luckily it was just that, advance auto parts for 10 bucks and my problem was gone.

Where is this "U-Joint"?

It is between the yoke that slips into the tailshaft of the trans and the driveshaft it's self. There is also one at the back of the driveshaft between the shaft and flange that bolts to the pinion gear.

There are 2 U-joints, one right before the diff companion flange on the end of the driveshaft plugs into differential and another right before the transmission
