Clutch Adjustment?

Well... reading my owner's manual, and apparently you can adjust the clutch by putting the car in 1st (turned off) lift clutch to the top fully, then slowly depress and should hear clicking as the clutch adjusts to the desired height. Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but it doesn't seem to actually change anything at all. I don't even hear this clicking they refer to. Just wondering if there's some way to adjust the clutch... it's about 7inches to depress this monster lol.

if you want to adjust where the clutch actually engages you need a new quadrant and firewall adjuster like these


I put in a new clutch this weekend and mine wouldn't adjust. So i got the steeda kit (quadrent,cable,adjuster) put in today. I can't wait to go pick it up after work :D
