What aftermarket quadrants, clutch cables, and adjusters will work with the 2.3L T5 setup? I am looking at doing a T5 swap into the Capri and I figure it would be easier to swap the quadrant and everything else out before it all goes under the dash. What setups are you 5 speed guys using?

    Thanks,

    Ethan.

As long as you still have a a cable, I'm pretty sure any of the quadrants and firewall adjusters will work.

However I believe you can't use a 5.0 clutch cable, something about it being a little bit longer or having a different connector for the fork end?

Yea. The 5.0L fork end is different. I wasn't sure if I could use the 2.3L cable with the aftermarket quadrants and adjusters that are available. I guess if I were to get Steeda's double hook quadrant or their solid non-adjustable one, I would have to get a firewall adjuster of some sort. I just wasn't sure what all was different between the 5.0L and 2.3L setups.

I'm running a Steeda double-hook quadrant and firewall adjuster with a stock 2.3L cable. The V8 cable has a different end on it, it can be modified to work, but it's better to just use the proper cable.
