Are coilovers a good choice for the Mustang? I was looking at the Eibach Pro-Street-S system. I like the idea of being able to set them to the perfect height. Would I need to add camber plates? Car will be a regular driver, not every day, but I just like to have a good driving car.

I hate adjustable height suspension packages. Why would you bother?? Would you really lower it to what looks good and then go through all that trouble to raise it or adjust it when you want it to handle and ride properly?? Just get a lowering kit and call it a day...if you want handling and ride then go FRPP if you just want to slam it to the ground then find a kit to do it but it wont handle or drive well...whatever you decide don't even bother with adjustable kit.

Speaking of experience unless you're planning on getting really serious about your track driving don't waste your money on coilovers. You'll find a setting that you like you'll stick with it and you'll wish you had saved your money by matching a good setup with coils and struts.

Thanks for the info guys. I can get the FRPP installed with alignment at a local dealer for $1950. Or should I just go with Tokico D-Specs and Eibach Pro springs. I think those installed would be around $1200-$1500.

Thanks again for the input. I know for sure I would find one setting and stay with it.

I love my FRPP, I think it's the best street/strip suspension you can buy.

I would go with Tokico's and the Pro kit. I have that on the way right now. I talked to a few knowledgeable people who pointed me that way, saying it was the best all around setup for a frequent-daily driver and weekend drag racer.

I ordered from stangsuspension.com. They had pretty much everything I wanted on sale at the time. Not sure on the price, since I spent about $1200 total with them. But they seemed to have the best prices.

I got my suspension parts from them as well. Great company as they gave me a follow up call about a week after I recieved my parts to see how the install went and was I happy of the results:nice: I'll probably order all my future suspension parts with them(if they carry it)even if it means a few more $!
