convertible trunk vs coupe trunk

I got into a front end accident on my 95 coupe. So I'm gonna be picking up a 94 v6 convertible for cheap to swap everything into. My question is this. I shaved everything on my coupe trunk. So are they the same thing? Could I use my coupe one on the vert? Or I might just sell it to fund the roll bar for the vert now. lol
