Converting my GT into an LX almost done 1 ?

    Just took off the rear bumper cover (pain in azz):rlaugh: anyway there are two brackets that hang off the rear bumper support pretty low. Do I need to take these off too:shrug: I mean I think they would show with an lx bumper cover.

    yes. Remove them. They are for the GT bumper only as they hold the bottom of it to help support it.

    I'm converting my LX to a GT. I'm missing some brackets :bang:

    so If you are missing any parts, I've got LX parts I'm trying to get rid of.

    Those zinc brackets that hold the GT rocker moldings and stuff are still avail at the dealer. www.50resto.com carries them too. They rivet it the rocker, and the fender, and the quarter.
