    Hard engine starting
    Rich or lean air/fuel ratio

    Reduced fuel economy
    Hesitation on acceleration

i was told the coolant temperature sensor can cause that,

because im having all those problems, i pulled codes, im getting lean in bank one and bank two, so i thinking this might be the problem

If you have a voltometer, get a resistance reading across it. It should have a huge resistance (something like 50k) when cold, but at operating temp it should be 2-3500 ohms or so.

If that's good, then check the voltage across the electrical connector... 4.5-5V or so.
