Just made a couple small changes. Added some smoked headlights and painted the brakes red on the termi. Dad really likes his grills so I fixed the lower one and fabricated new brackets so I could mount it. It was glued in place but was in the trunk when he got it. Looks ok but if it were me id yank em. We ordered DSG ralley stripes and black letters for the bumper. After I install them and try out my Porter Cable ill let yall see So let me know what yall think of the additions
Dont get me started on that damn antenna It was broke off inside the mount so the dealer gave 75 bucks back. I tried to drill and tap and just was not happening So I wanted to put the delete and do a windshield mount inside but dad really wanted the stock one so I ordered one from LMRS and had to remove the cowl and replace it. And yeah the 19s make the brakes look real small On the upside the wheels are really freakin lite I had OZ F1 cups in 16" and they weighed more, guess they have to justify the 4K pricetag on em
Err that lower grill isnt a good idea. With that small of a pulley, the heat exchanger needs all the flow it can get....especially with no cooling mods. That resistance of the second grill is going to force more air around the car...better for aero, bad for cooling. But I must say that you did do a really good job Very nice work bro!
Yea im not worried about engine temp...my stock radiator is WAY more than enough. My car runs 179 sitting at idle with the AC blasting in 80+* weather. Im talking about the heat exchanger...even with aftermarket, these eatons heat up in a hurry @ WOT. Just keep an eye on IAT2s while your running that grill. And by cooling mods, I mean the head cooling mod..not aftermarket radiator/HE. When you get elevated IAT2 temps your prone to getting the head tick...hot coolant gets trapped at teh rear of the drivers head and cyclinders # 7 and 8 aften bite the dust first. Just saying that blocking air from the HE is not a good idea in anycase unless you have a killer chiller....just putting your engine at more risk.
