Okay, I've got my 69 I'm putting my 85 block 302 in with 2400 stall, and an AOD tranny from an 80s mark series. I've heard I'm going to need a new crossmember and shifter. I heard that an 80s ranger shifter will work, but still not sure. As for the crossmember, does anyone have any plans to make one? Or what car I could get one off of? Also, am I just going to get a transmission mount for a 69 mustang? or is it going to be a different mount? Thanks guys!

National Parts Depot lists in their catalog a crossmember for AOD conversion
and a shift rod conversion to let you use your original shifter.

hi, i just, not even an hour ago finished my AOD. i used the origional shifter rod. i needs to be slightly modified. if you want more info, let me know. i can't take a pic right now, but i will have plenty pics and all the issues i ran intosoon on my site(link below). there was a-lot of small stuff that most people(npd and otheres) don't mention when doing this conversion.

you can't buy the "conversion" rod right now its back ordered from windsor fox.

as for the crossmember, but the one from windsor fox, or whoever.
